Calling all poets, lyricists and spoken word artists!

The Poplar Poets Society is a brand new fortnightly event where writers can come together alongside local poet and musician, John Warwick, to hone their craft, develop and share new material and learn new poetry writing skills.

What to expect

With none of the formalities of a class or workshop, this society is designed to be a space for reflection, feedback and personal development and a brilliant opportunity to meet fellow East London and Poplar based poets. Each week a different poetic style will be explored or simply feel free to use the time to work on your own material.

All you need is yourself, your notepad and a willingness to share your creativity!

About John
