Rethink Mental Illness ‘A Better You’ group welcomes women who have had experience of mental illness and want you to improve their physical and mental health through physical activity. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, everyone is welcome.
Physical activity helps to reduce stress and symptoms of mental health conditions. Our peer support activity sessions aim to help make you feel good because it releases chemicals known as ‘happy hormones’ that improves your mood. It is also a great chance to socialise and meet new people.
